There’s no better way to explore the winter wilderness than a hut to hut trip through the deep woods of Maine. The Appalachian Mountain Club has a series of huts connected by beautiful groomed trails, making the warm meal and cosy bed well worth it after a day of trekking. We opted for a nordic ski adventure and relied heavily on our Grandy Oats trail mix to keep us fueled.
